27 Tips to keep your Bridal Beauty

Bridal beauty tips help you get better organized before your wedding day. Marriage is special, so there is no need to sweat the small stuff! Plans for the future can be hectic, so use these tips to minimize stress!

Many times, the marriage takes place only once in a lifetime. To have a good memory, when all the activities you do, right? Continuing adventures is as important as your dress collection. Making sure you have all your bases covered only makes sense!
1. Use bronzing powder on your chest and neck if you need to even out your skin tone. Bronzer's will make your skin more luminous and ensure that your facial skin tone doesn’t look like a different shade from your natural skin tone.

2. Don’t use foundation on your decolletage. It can rub off and stain your wedding gown.

3. Use a sunblock and/or moisturizer that includes SPF 30 or higher, especially if your wedding ceremony is outside. If you get too much sun, you could look a bit flushed or pinkish in wedding pictures after the ceremony.

4.  Always, always wear a waterproof mascara. They last longer and won’t smear if you cry. If you’re worried about taking it off later, use false eyelashes instead, or simply add some eye makeup remover to your makeup bag. You can also just use Vaseline or baby oil instead.

5. Brides always remove their veil after the ceremony. Make sure you know how to take yours off successfully without messing up your hair. You may even want to get mom or bridesmaid to lend you a hand.

6.  Choose a brighter lip color when you get married. Nude or brown lip shades can make your face appear washed out in photos. This is especially true if you are wearing a white gown. If you normally wear a natural shade, wear it underneath a pink or rose lipstick on top.

7.  Every woman's skin tone looks good with pink lip colors. If you normally wear dark lipstick, use that as your base and apply a lighter sheer pink on top to lift the color.

8.   If you mix various lip colors for that special day, be sure to have one great lipstick to carry with you for quick touchups. Always be prepared as you are likely to have a very long day!

9.   A few weeks before you get married, think about whitening your teeth. Yellow teeth are a big turn off in pictures. Remember, you’ll be looking at your wedding pictures for many years to come. You’ve got the perfect dress, and picked out your best makeup colors, don’t ruin the image by forgetting about your teeth. There are lots of safe, reliable over-the-counter teeth-whitening systems, which will whiten your teeth by a few shades.

10. Be sure to test your bridal hairstyle out with your dress before you get married. Dress rehearsal’s are a must have. You want to make sure your dress and your hairstyle compliment each other. Dresses with a decolletage usually look better with an updo hairstyle, with maybe a few tendrils hanging down in front or back.

11. Make sure you set your hair style appointment  in stone on your wedding day and make sure you tell your hairdresser that it’s important for her to be at the appointment on time. Also, set the appointment earlier than necessary. You want to have extra time in case something does happen.

12. If your wedding is early in the day or if your hairdresser has agreed to come to your house, plug in your hair appliances before your stylist arrives to save time.

13. Give your hair a spa day! Have a professional scalp massage and deep conditioning treatment a few weeks before your wedding. Scalp massages help relax you and help any dandruff you might have, and the deep conditioning treatment will give your hair added shine and luster. You can also use silk therapy products that rock your hair into a show stopper!

14. Charcoal, navy, or dark brown are your best options for eyeliner if you’re getting married during the day. Black liners are more appropriate for indoor or nighttime ceremonies.

15. To enhance your eyes and make them stand out, use a light colored or white eyeshadow on your brow bones and on your inner eyelids for lighter skin tones. Use a warmer light peach or cream shade shadow will better suit darker complexions.

16. Contour your eyes by using a matte base shade eyeshadow on your entire eyelid, a darker color in the crease of your eyes, and a lighter shade as your highlighter. Buy eyeshadow sets or Makeup Kits to get more out of your dollars and to have a wider selection of colors to choose from.

17. Define your brows with an eyebrow pencil that matches your eyebrow color. Use wispy strokes to fill them in, then brush them out to erase lines and shape brows.

18. A bridal beauty tip must have is to make sure your eyebrows are shaped at least a week before you walk down the aisle. Use an eyebrow stencils if you need to, or have them done professionally. Pluck any stray hairs the day before you get married, just in case!

19. Use Visine before you apply makeup to whiten your eyes. The whiter your eyes, the better your wedding pictures will be! Use a brand that you’ve used before successfully.

20. Most of the time, a rose blush, peach blush, or pink blush is most appropriate for wedding ceremonies. However, if your dress is an off white or peach color, use a peach blush instead. You want to keep your colors uniform on your special day.

21. You may want to try a touch of shimmer makeup on your cheekbones to make your face light up. Lip shimmer and shimmer eyeshadow are also good options. Shimmer should be used sparingly though, so your face doesn’t cause glare in your pictures.

22. If you don't want to hassle with applying shadows, experiment with different peel off eyeshadows for your special day. These are great time savers that take out the chance of making makeup mistakes.

23. If you have a blemish or breakout just before your wedding day, keep your hands away from your face. Your pimple will heal more quickly if you leave it alone.

24. In the case of a sudden large oil bump, use a hydrocortisone cream on it overnight for several nights. Also, clean the pimple with hydrogen peroxide to help dry it up faster.

25. Be sure to blend your makeup after makeup application. You don’t want any visible lines of demarcation to get in the way of your good looks!

26. When you apply your makeup, try to do it in natural light if possible. Use a nearby window to allow natural light into the room before you apply your makeup, or use a makeup mirror that has a natural light setting.

27. If you're getting ready away from home, be sure you’ve brought everything with you. Make your list and check it twice! Nothing’s worse than having to scramble at the last minute to find makeup that you forgot to bring along, plus you may have to settle for a brand that you’re not used to using. This can be disastrous!
